Learn how to prepare and use Powers of Attorney and Living Wills at any stage of your life at this free workshop. This event will be hosted by Heritage AAA, the University of Iowa College of Law and the Iowa Department on Aging in honor of Cady Day of Public Service, dedicated to late Iowa Supreme Court Chief Justice Mark Cady.

Join us for an in-depth conversation about power of attorney documents and how they can be used to bring clarity and guidance at any stage of life. Participants will be empowered to complete power of attorney forms themselves or may schedule a free consultation with a legal provider to complete the documents. Participants will learn:

  • How are power of attorney documents used?

  • What do these documents cover?

  • Do I need these documents?

  • How do I prepare a power of attorney document?

In honor of the late Justice Cady, this program is free but registration is required. Attendance will be limited to allow for social distancing. Our site host requires masks for all participants.
