Grassroots Outreach and Advocacy

Task Forces on Aging sound very official, but the mission is simple: let’s help each other in helping older adults.

Six counties in the Heritage region have a Task Force on Aging made up of local seniors and service providers. The groups discuss concerns for local seniors and caregivers, learn about resources to support these populations, and plan outreach to spread awareness about those resources.
