The Heritage Area Agency on Aging is Chair of the Johnson County Livable Community's Policy Board. We proudly participate in this active community group to improve the lives of older adults, persons living with disabilities and caregivers within Johnson County. Below are activities the Johnson County Livable Community members have organized to celebrate Older American's Month during May. Help Heritage “Fill the Plates” of older adults throughout eastern Iowa. Volunteers are desperately needed to assist in providing meals at dining sites and deliver meals and supplemental food to older adults in our area. Shifts and opportunities vary. The awards program is supported by WellCare.
